Well, here I tried a technic where attach a piece of paper and some clay behind a glass nugget (which are normaly used for decoration). It saw some great jewelery made this way in 's and 's galleries, so please also have a look on their work :3
The (incomplete) quotations I used are from Twilight and New Moon, here they are:
"Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me. " (New Moon)
"Hasn't anyone ever told you? Life isn't fair." (Twilight)
I should really use another background next time, shouldn't I? I'm getting pretty bored by always using pink papers as a background.
Thanks to for the great texture I used as a background. It looks much more classy with it.
So, I hope you like it, thank you soooo much for watching, faving or/and commenting
thank you so much for your lovely comments, this makes me really happy x3
well, i don't think that i'd have the time to make a tutorial, but it will even be not necessary, because this kind of charms are easy to do (i also learned it through a short explanation).
you take a little glass nugget bead (which you usually use for decoration), and print out the quote you want to have in your charm (just try a bit with the size of the fonts, the paper has to be a bit smaller than the nugget itself). so you
so you glue the paper on the back of the glass nugget, and fix the whole back with a bit of clay (you can use sculpey clay or something like that, my clay is selfdrying, which makes it really easy). while the clay hasn't dried you put the wire into the clay, so that you can hang-up the charm. after drying, you have to add a bit of superglue to the wire, to make sure that it doesn't get out of the clay. then you can paint the back (but that's not so important because you can only the see the front of the charm). that's it
i really hope this explanation helps you, if you have questions or need help, you can ask any time
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
